The station is located between High Street and Station Street. Shops are located near the station.

The station consists of only one platform. The platform contains a large brick building with an enclosed waiting room and a ticket office inside. A large Metcard machine is located inside the waiting room, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins.
The platform can be accessed via High Street and Station Street.
