Thomas Sutherland (banker)

Thomas Sutherland (Chinese:蘇石蘭 1834-1922), a Scotsman, was the Hong Kong superintendent for the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O), when he established the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, the founder member of HSBC, in Hong Kong in 1865.
