Thomas Anthony Williams was born in Liverpool on 10 February 1948 and was ordained at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King on 27 May 1972. He was ordained Titular Bishop of Mageo and Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Liverpool by Archbishop Patrick Altham Kelly on 27 May 2003.
