The Tholian Sentinel is a ship designed to guard corporate planets in the fictional TradeWars 2002 universe.
The Sentinel has combat odds of 4.0 when defending corporate planets. Otherwise, it has odds of 1.0. A corporation can take advantage of the high combat odds by stationing a player in the Sentinel in the same sector as the planet he is defending. In order to land on the planet, an enemy must first destroy the Sentinel.
The Sentinel is less than ideal for any other purpose besides guarding planets, since its trading efficiency of 36 is low compared to other ships in that price range.
