Talk:Thomas Jay Oord

This had no links and was pretty much an orphan page. I'd add one of those nice side-bars that some of the living western philosophers have, but I don't know if it's warranted. If I discarded anything important feel free to restore it, but I thought that links to NNU or the Nazarene itself were better suited on their own pages. Cobaltnine 07:18, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Okay, guys, if you're going to edit commentary in, let's keep this in mind: It's a philosopher. Anything he says is his philosophical argument. Stop editing it to say that specifically. It sounds childish. Secondly, if you're going to argue that the three classical forms of love have no Christian meaning, please GO ARGUE THAT AT THOSE PAGES. That is why there are links to all three. Any other citations, such that prevenient grace is a Catholic idea, should be cited. It appears a lot in Methodist discussions, so arguably it is suitable for inclusion.
I have not read Mr Oord's books, and I'm guessing you haven't either. All I did was wikify what was there regarding the books, and dug up his bio off publically accessable webpages. Further changes should be noted here, and signed with an account. Cobaltnine 16:50, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
