Talk:Thomas Graham, 1st Baron Lynedoch
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thomas Graham was involved on the Batle of Barrosa on 5th March 1811 NOT the Battle of Barossa.
The spelling with one r and two s was as a result of a clerical error when a region in South Australia was named Barrosa Ranges by Colonel William Light in 1837. Subsequent errors saw the region called Barossa Ranges (and eventually Barossa Valley - an area now internationally known for wine production)
