[edit] Rating stories
- Sure that's be a great idea! Any specific guidelines? QuizQuick
- I think the stories that make you laugh are the best ones. Also if they have a good plot and flow well. But I think mainly if they make you laugh. I've put a list of some of my favorates on the sandbox talk page. It needs improving and editing a bit.
[edit] Log
I'm sorry, but just because it contains a link it does not automatically become more than a dictionary definition, especially considering the fact that it specifically defines the term as "slang". I would recommend that you study the disambiguation page guidelines for more information on why this particular entry is unfit. Thanks.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 12:24, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Eternally Lost
Heh, thanks! :] Where do I get my ideas? Eh, I don't really know, actually. Occasionally, a line will just...appear in my head, and I decide to make a poem from it. If you mean my influences, Tolkien mostly. Kariià Deranged Ramblings 00:36, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kaley Cuoco
Personally, I think only multiple season cast should count. No Andy, Billie, Chris, Dan or Jenny. Only Prue, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Leo, Cole and Daryll.~ZytheTalk to me! 15:37, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Quenya
Regarding:ni lá mára tec Quenya lambë mal ni anta ta lelya. Manen elyë pol cenda ta mára?
- The grammar in your sentences above is poor so it's very hard to be certain of understanding what you're trying to say. Could you please restate what you wrote in English? - Ing 16:04, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- I tried to say: "I don't write very good in Quenya. Can this be understood?" I know its poor; I was just testing to see if anyone could understand it. Obviously you couldn't. Where did you learn? And what needs to be done to improve it?
- This isn't really the place for me to be critiquing your Quenya, but to me it just looked like you looked up each word in a Quenya dictionary and replaced the English word with what you found. The main problems I can see are that none of the verbs appear to have been declined for tense and the pronouns would usually be fixed onto the verb rather than floating free. As an example, here is how I would translate it: "Lá tecin mára Quenya. Ma hanyal sin?" "don't write-I good Quenya. Do you-understand this".
- Ok, thanks for the tip.
[edit] Quizquick
- I was just wondering what happened to QuizQuick. He hasn't edited since the 28th september so I looked into it. I know its none of my bussiness really, but could you tell me if he's coming back or has been banned for good. Think outside the box 11:02, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for your note. That account has been blocked indefinitely. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 21:17, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Omega34
I really like "the ugly barnacle" Very funny and was filled with Randomness (new word). I also realy enjoyed "the madness within" it was very descriptive.Omega34 23:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Add a word game
- Hey! your only ment to add one word, not a whole sentence! Ahh!
- Maybe you should reread the instructions. It specifically says to add a word or phrase to the end, as long as the phrase is no longer than one line. --TheGreatLlama (speak to the Llama!) 18:31, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, my bad. Sorry about that. Think outside the box 08:15, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. --TheGreatLlama (speak to the Llama!) 19:14, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Omega34
Really cool story, a terrible day for bill. I really enjoyed it a lot, Also thank you for all of the great comments. Omega34 20:09, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Eureka & Mount Thor
- I was curious as to why you added them to the "Extreme points of the world" category?. Alert, Nunavut is further north and is also inhabited. Cape Columbia is the northernmost point of land in Canada and Barbeau Peak is the highest point in Canada. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 14:16, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- I added them because although they may not be the most extreme (which I didn't know at the time!), they are still quite extreme. I'll add the others you said if they are not already there :)
[edit] Omega 34
Have you read my new story "In the midst of a battle"? Omega34 20:44, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Poem - Dial-Up: Six Haikus and a Limerick
(Ouch, at least mine's a Windows 98) But thanks! I just write what I feel sometimes, and it turns out that day my dial-up was really acting up. I could see you've written more than I have; I quite liked "Forgotten But Remembered". -- Wikiwøw 15:27, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Poem- Morning Mist
I want you to know I like your poetry, but it holds much pain.Where does that come from? I sent you a comment earlier, but sent it to the keep or delete area.It is takeing me some time to learn to navigate this site.I have never displayed my poetry in such a manner and hope I don't mess up to much. --Barbara J. Hall 22:25, 19 October 2006 (UTC)Barbara J Hall
[edit] Think Outside The Box
It is so nice to recieve a message from you, thank you.I put Morning Mist into the poetry section and took it off the keep or delete site. This is something so new to me and I find it exhilerating and wish I had more time to explore.
Life sometimes becomes so complicated,Oct. 2nd my brother was killed in an acident and on the 6th my Mother passed away,so until I get control of my world again I will only be checking in intermittenly. You have made my experiance online exceptionally welcoming and I thank you . Look forward to sharing my poetry.--Barbara J. Hall 11:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The OR Game
- Really? If you were Superman you'd get to do Ultrawoman aswell Think outside the box 10:55, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- LOL, being half-awake, that thought did not occur to me. Good point. Ascraeus 10:59, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sandbox/Storyteling
- I noticed you cencored some of the explicit words in many of the storys there. Why yo you think they should have been deleted? 10:19, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- There was some disgusting and inappropriate content in there that shouldn't mar the content of what should be innocent stories. OK, maybe not that innocent, but some of it really was... odd. User:Happy8 4:34, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with you there! Often though the good stories are ruined, usually by vandals who are directed to the sandbox by anti-vandal warnings.
[edit] Murat Reis the Older
- Dear Think outside the box,
Please be calm.It is not suitable to rename a User as "Vandal".This canbe accepted to affront to a user. Please see Wikipedia:Vandalism. He/she had made some small edits on article and you reverted. Ok.The best way is to add your POV to article talk page also. Sorry for my intervene, just to help and prevent you from any punishment. Regards. Mustafa AkalpTC 13:24, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks for the tip! I must have gotten a bit carried away and I apologise. I am quite new at stopping vandalism and I'll make sure I have a look at the rule pages. Thanks!
[edit] Poem - Morning Mist
A THANK YOU
You are beautiful,,Thank you for your comforting words,,It did not occur to me to stop submitting. I am still healing from a month of death and sorrow so deep and have just not been able to do much of anything. When I get off the couch and out of this fetal position I should be able to face life as it comes again,,as it has been said many times,""What does not kill you will only make you stronger"", Right?--Barbara J. Hall 20:22, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Sandbox mfd - why?
Hi, I didn't actually nominate any of those pages for deletion, I've merely given my view as everyone is entitled to do; I was the first or second person to comment on some of them, which may have confused you. My opinion is that they should be deleted, and I have explained my reasoning on the MfDs already. Assuming you have already put forward an argument in favour of keeping the pages, you've effectively negated my argument anyway. I'm not going to change my opinion; nor, I imagine, is anyone else who is in favour of deletion – Gurch 15:55, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- I noticed this mass nomination too. I feel as though you have article standards confused with community pages standards. You might be better off writing an essay on your concerns and generating a bit of discussion. I personally think it's wonderful that wikipedia editors can get along and play games without affecting their sense of seriousness when it comes to editing the wiki. i kan reed 20:17, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Replicators
In reference to:
hello, are you sure those are the right names for the replicator characters in stargate? I'm not sure myself but i think it was right before.
- I wasnt sure where to put this but im positive about the seventh human form Replicator being called Eighth. Check the Stargate Solutions Wiki or just watch the end of New Order Part 2
- Ok, i think your right. when i next see the episode i'll check. thanks
[edit] Issuing Warnings
- When issuing warnings or writing comments on talk pages, please remember to sign your comments and warnings.--Vercalos 09:58, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- yes i will - i just trying to avoid attackts by giving them the link to my page.
- Well, they can find your page anyway, and if they do attack your page, that means they'll be blocked that much quicker.. It's not exactly difficult to revert vandalism. Also, make sure the user in question has been issued a blatant vandal warning or test4 and continues to vandalize before reporting them to AIV.--Vercalos 10:02, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, and be careful, that "don't be a loser" comment violates WP:Civil--Vercalos 10:05, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ok yes, i will do that aswell. where is the warning templeate page? Also do I have to warn them when reverting vandalisum or can someone else do it?
- There's a link to the warning templates on my user page, but you can find them here. Just keep in mind it's best to move up one by one, and if you don't sign your warnings, the administrators will crack down on oyu for it.--Vercalos 10:08, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, and there's another reason to sign your comments, especially vandalism warnings; it gives a time stamp, and makes it so that the administrator doesn't have to go into the history and check when you warned the person.--Vercalos 10:12, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- thanks for your help
[edit] Spelling of Kandracar?
- there seam to be several differing spelling of Kandracar. should we use Kandracar spelt with a 'K' or Candracar spelt with a 'C'? depends on which region your in i suppose. Is there a standard? In any event i think it would be a good idea to at least mention the difference in spelling.
- I think that the C spelling only applies to the US. Since this is a European comic/series and the number of countire that use K outnumbers the number of countries that use C, I advice that we stick with the K spelling. perfectblue 11:37, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- yes, i looked into and i think your right. thanks
