This is This! is the fifteenth and final studio album by Weather Report. The band thought they had fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records with the release of the previous album Sportin' Life. This, however, was not the case and the band has to release one more record. The album is considered by fans to be their weakest outing, as the feeling for the music was not behind its creation, rather the requirement to make an album.
