This Could Be My Moment was a track by British band The Verve. It was first released as one of two (three in Japan) bonus tracks on the compilation album This is Music: The Singles 92-98. The song was recorded during the Urban Hymns sessions in late 1996 and early 1997. However the song never made it onto the final album collection, and remained an unreleased out-take.

However, when the Verve's greatest hits compilation came out, Richard Ashcroft stated that he would like some of the better 1997 outtakes to feature on the CD, so that they would finally get released. Along with Monte Carlo, This Could Be My Moment appeared at the end of the CD.

The setup of the song is vocals, drum kit, bass guitar and a series of electric guitars, most of which are heavily distorted. There is a trilled lead guitar note at the start and end of the piece, which is something also seen in All in the Mind, a 1992 hit from the band. The song shows a lot of Britpop-style tecniques throughout, especially in the guitars.
