Thirty meter telescope

The Thirty meter telescope (TMT) is a future large segmented-mirror optical and infrared telescope, proposed and run by a consortium made up by Caltech, the University of California, AURA, and ACURA. While still under design, completion is scheduled for sometime in the mid-2010s.
