Thirsk railway station lies on the East Coast Main Line. It serves the town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire, although the station is about 1.5 miles outside the town centre. There are four tracks all with platforms, however the centre pair of platforms facing the fast lines are fenced off and out of use. The station is operated by First TransPennine Express.

In December 2006, this station will be served by a new company called Grand Central.
