Third anti-partisan offensive

Third enemy offensive (Serbo-Croatian: Treća neprijateljska ofanziva/ofenziva) was a battle during World War II between Partisans on one side and German, Italian, Ustaša and Chetnik troops on the other side. It took place in eastern Bosnia, Montenegro, Sandžak, and Herzegovina between March 31 and June 1942.
Axis generals planed this series of operations at Conference in Opatija with goal of crushing large liberated regions Tito's partisans have created after failure of winter offensive. Codename TRIO was given to operation in eastern Bosnia.
