[edit] Petula Clark
Hello! You certainly must be well-acquainted with Petula's early career to have added so many song titles from the early '50s. The only reason I hadn't included more than I did was because I was already being criticized by some users for making the entry longer than is usual for Wikipedia. I couldn't help it - she's been around forever and just keeps going! Thanks for your contribution . . . TOM 18:23, Nov 21, 2004 (UTC)
Hi Tom! Not Tom Rizzo by any chance? Gosh I must have sounded like a right saddo adding those songs. But its just a "pet" (excuse the pun!) hate of mine when anyone ignores the pre-Downtown period of her career. And don't listen to those criticisms - your entry is brilliant. I'm all for longer entries. Hey, at least you acknowledged Little Shoemaker. ;)
P.S. Look up Battersea Park - I've been a bit cheeky!!
- I never saw your response until today because you put it on YOUR talk page instead of mine!! Yes, I'm Tom Rizzo - is there another Tom who would have stretched the PC entry THAT long??? :) - but who are you and how do you know me? (You never signed your message, and I'm not familiar with the name Theo Morgan.) I LOVED your addition to Battersea Park . . . FYI, see my creations for Downtown, This is My Song, Someone Like You , Tony Hatch, Michel Colombier, Little Tramp, and my additions to Goodbye, Mr. Chips, Pye Records, Sunset Boulevard, Blood Brothers, The Sound of Music, and Polygon Records. Please let me know who you are! TOM 15:58, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
Hope you see this Tom. Me, I'm just a recent Petula convert, from England. I've only been into her a few months and already she's one of my favourites. I think I saw your name on the PetNet site. Glad you like the Battersea Park addition. I think I am going to buy this set when I can!! I love the fact you've started a Polygon page. I've just started, out of curiosity, trying to compile a list of all the UK Polygon releases. If you have such a list, I'd be interested. I've added all the Petula releases already.
- In order to be sure I get your messages, you can just E-mail me directly - SFTVLGUY2@AOL.com - if you like. Yes, you've seen my name on the PetNet site, as I've written articles for it in the past. Actually, I didn't create the Polygon page, but when I first stumbled across it there was practically nothing on it, so I've enhanced it quite a bit. I have a list of all the PC Polygon releases, but none by other artists, if that's what you mean. Where in England do you live? I've been to London 48 times - it's definitely my favorite city in the world. Quite a few of those trips were planned specifically to see Petula - in "The Sound of Music," "Someone Like You, "Sunset Boulevard," the 1998 concert tour, etc, etc. I first met her in 1966 - she's a gracious lady and has been very kind to me over the years. I'm glad you're enjoying her music! TOM 02:01, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Images
Hi. When you upload images, please be sure to include info on the source and copyright status on the image description page, and mark it with one of the Wikipedia:Image copyright tags as appropriate. Here's an example I took care of for you: on Image:Barbara's album.jpg you already noted the LP the image came from, so I added the {{albumcover}} tag. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Cheers, -- Infrogmation 17:45, 12 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Snowmanrecording.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Snowmanrecording.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag, so its copyright status is therefore unclear. Please add a tag to let us know its copyright status. (If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know on the image description page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Otherwise, see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. Thanks so much. --Michael 05:36, September 13, 2005 (UTC)
