[edit] Just a side note

I wanted to tell you that this is the funniest talk page I have read in a long time. You've got the trolls all over you. Just an FYI, the PM is elected, but he is elected by the members of Parliament. The Queen's functions are the functions of state - ie entertaining foreign dignataries and does have some weight in directing foreign policy, but does not usually exercise that. The powers are usually exercised only on rare occasions, the handover of Hong Kong to the Chinese government for instance was a matter of state in which the monarchy assisted a great deal. --Strothra 23:38, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks mate. Some of that I already knew, such as the PM stuff, but I have been wondering about the Queen for a while; I knew she did some stuff for foreign relations, but as far as leadership of the country goes, I was making the point above that it is the elected PM and her/his party that governs the country, not a "tyrannical" (apparently) Queen. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 00:47, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Psst...Wikipedia is an encyclopedia; you can look it up: British monarchy :-) In the Commonwealth countries, the functions of Head of State and Head of government are distinct (as opposed to the U.S.; the President is both head of state and head of government). -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 02:42, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Lol, yes I know. I made an attempt to look it up once, but gave up fairly quickly.... The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 09:37, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3 Inches of Blood

Wotcha. Man, your talk page is funny. I should visit more often! My feeling, re alphabetisation, is that 3, whether it's written as a number or a letter, begins with T and should be filed there. I looked for a Wiki guideline page, but I couldn't find one. Didn't look very hard mind... Cardinal Wurzel 15:32, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, you're right! Can't argue with this [1]. Curses, foiled again! Cardinal Wurzel 20:15, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Note

I just want to thank you for snding the message to that user who vandalized my user page. Also I notice there is yet another member of of our vandals, Unigold. He is now banned as I read on your talk page a few days ago. A wealthy oilman from Texas? I guess the mental institution is allowing patients to use the computers. LOL American Brit 00:51, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Im leaving Wikipedia. I just want to say goodbye. I know we had a spat last time I edited here, but I forgive you for it. I also apoligise. Anyways Goodbye, its obvious Im not welcome here. Wikimajesty 00:54, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Alright. Bye. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 09:06, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Haunted Angel dont you want to go to supper at the Kings palace in Lu. LOL I dont understand why your page is such a troll magnet. To be honest the fact the same users post this nonsense on our user pages: and ours only can mean one thing: there all the same user. American Brit 00:25, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

They are most obviously the same user, and I've tagged the user page so. --Majo(rly?) 00:27, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
They are all the same guy; considering they all edit the same pages, including your's. Thanks Majo. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 00:30, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

I am not a sock puppet. I just regestered yesterday and I am not trolling. I really am the King of Lu. I simply I wanted to ask you a question about editing on Mortal Kombat and you jumped down my troat. But if you dont want me to post here I wont. GhoastUser 00:47, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

You are a King of Lu? Just were is this Lu? American Brit 00:48, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

On the planet Gillian. GhoastUser 00:49, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

The Haunted Angel do you want me to protect this page from trolling? --Majorly 00:57, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

No, it's really ok, I will just proceed to remove all such troll additions as soon as they are added -- I'm not sure how comfortable I would feel with a protected talk page. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 01:08, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

I just want to say Haunted Angel you have chased another user away. I am leaving Wikipedia this very minute. Goodbye GhoastUser 01:45, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

By the way, Haunted Angel, I am leaving Wikipedia on December 9 or 10 one and will not be back until after December 14 so I would appreciate it if you would watch my user page in case of vandalism or trolling. American Brit 01:56, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Ghoast -- Yes, I'm sure I did that, not your choice of edits.
Brit -- Your user page is already on my watch list, I'll be paying close attention to it. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 17:19, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Haunted Angel I am not editing under the name Ghost User. I swear I have changed from vandalism to a good guy. What do I have to do to prove it to you? I guess I will have to sign in and create an account to seperate myself from my past on Wikipedia. 75.109.96.211 17:46, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Then you do that. The Admins have the ability to see your IP, they will decide if you are the vandal. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 17:47, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Happy Now

I am a new user, who was once a vandal and converted. I am an atheist and do not agree with Christianity at all. But I do think you could have been nicer in your "Vandal Wars". You chased away many users because you attacked them. They had not even been registared but a few days. One of Wikipedias rules is "Dont bite the newbies". So I highly suggest you control your attitude or you may end up banned too. BadtoGood 22:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I did not chase them away, they all came onto my user page and began ranting about how I am apparently not nice to people, all starting because I gave a warning about blanking the Da Vinci Code article. All those people did was bitch to me and American Brit about stuff, and vandalise. If I "chased them away", which I doubt I did, then at least Wikipedia has less vandals. When they do return, hopefully they will realised vandalism gets people nowhere. And before another huge rant ensures, I'll just leave you with this: I don't give a fuck. How appropriately placed. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 22:49, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I think you need to watch your language. And no I am not starting a rant. I just posted here to show you that you are a creul self centered user. But I am not starting a fight. From now on I will let it go but just remember next time you smart off to a user I will be back and it wont be pretty you will be heading for cover BadtoGood 23:05, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't need to watch my language, Wikipedia isn't censored, and if you click on that link, you will see that that is the name of the article. And about you "letting me off", any warning I give someone is always well deserved, unless I make an honest mistake, such as the example below, where I apologize. Anyone who dares claim to make good faith edits to Wikipedia in the name of their religion is undisputably a vandal, and will be dealt as such, that's all I am saying. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 23:09, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Let me ask you something. You are a self proclaimed athsiet, and you get mad at Christian vandals who vandalize in the name of Cristianity. But would you get mad at an atheist who vandalizes Christian articles? Is things diffrent when they follow your religion? One fact you are forgetting is that Wikipedia is unibias. BadtoGood 23:28, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I am not atheist, I am Satanist. But in answer to your question, yes, I would be angry at anyone who vandalises any article, even if it's an article about something I don't like. Here's an example. I dislike the band Trivium, usually for commercial reasons. Yeah, I think they sold out, etc. and I hope that they flop. But, I recently had their page semi protected, as you can see here. This proves that, no matter what the subject, I will defend Wikipedia from any vandal in any form. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 23:33, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

For your information there is no difference between atheism or Satanism. They both deny God so there the same. BadtoGood 23:38, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Please do not be ignorant. Not everything that denies God is the same, there are different views on life from different religions. They are not the same, try reading about them. This is an encyclopedia, y'know. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 23:42, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Dont call me ignorant or I will report you for personal attacks. BadtoGood 23:48, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Then report me. I'm sorry to say that calling two religions the same without even properly looking into them is ignorance. This is an encyclopedia, and so I could criticize you just as easily for not keeping an open mind on my talk page and instead insisting on belittling my religion, but I won't for now. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 23:53, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

This is going no where. Im sorry for starting this. I will just end this silly fight now. If you agree to leave me alone I will agree to leave you alone. Deal? BadtoGood 23:55, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I just want to add one last post; You think all of the vandals were sock puppets? I think American Brit is the same as all of them. Notice how quick he was to respond. Notice he did not edit while they were blocked? BadtoGood 00:00, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I agree to stop all this, I didn't ask for it, and no, I don't think that Brit is the Sock Puppet. You can think what you like, but I don't think that and please don't try and convince me that he was, before you do. There has been too much intervention of admins for them not to notice the IP similarities. Anyway, as long as this is over, then good. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 00:02, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Now that I read back I admit I was wrong. Im sorry for bothering you like I did. BadtoGood 02:44, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Apology accepted. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 09:06, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Im back from my wikibreak. I see you have to deal with another rant. American Brit 20:04, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Also I hope you know Haunted Angel I am not one of them vandals. I responded quickly to their posts because your user page is on my watchlist. I have never vandalised not in the two years I have been on Wikipedia. American Brit 20:08, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

I havn't considered you being the vandel anyway, so don't worry. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 09:12, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

<personal attack removed> 75.109.100.118 04:54, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

We'll see you again in 24 hours. Buh-bye. EVula // talk // // 05:00, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Wow, the vandalism to a userpage that can be reverted with the click of a button really breaks my heart. Cheers EVula for the quick revert on both here and my User Page, and also thanks to Gwernol for reverting the other random crap on my User Page. I need to start a tally of how many vandalisms I've recieved I think.... It's also pretty funny how five days ago the same vandel said:
"Haunted Angel I am not editing under the name Ghost User. I swear I have changed from vandalism to a good guy. What do I have to do to prove it to you? I guess I will have to sign in and create an account to seperate myself from my past on Wikipedia."

[edit] Judaism and Evolution

You responded to my removal of a passage from this article with a note stating that this was "vandalism." I beg to differ.

Wikipedia defines vandalism as: any addition, deletion, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. IMHO, removing questionable and potentially libelous content contributes to the integrity of Wikipedia.

Wikipedia guidelines also state: Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Apparent bad-faith edits that do not make their bad-faith nature inarguably explicit are not considered vandalism at Wikipedia. For example, adding a personal opinion once is not vandalism — it's just not helpful, and should be removed or restated.

If you'd like to discuss why this passage should be removed or whether it should be edited to indicate the controversial nature of the study and the problems with it (including those published in the current issue of Skeptic), I'll see you on the discussion page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.249.0.58 (talk) 17:00, 10 December 2006 (UTC).

If what you did was indeed a good faith edit, forgive me. I was on RC patrol and I happened to notice you removed a paragraph with no edit summary. At a glance, this appeared to be blanking vandalism, however, if was indeed an honest edit, you have my sincerest apologies. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 17:11, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Apologies accepted. It was indeed an honest edit. The study has been quite controversial as it's construction and presentation did not meet the fundamental requirements of good science. Also, many of Nussbaum's comments within the article are blatantly biased and inaccurate. I think it should be removed, but if you have ideas as to how it can be improved, I'm willing to hear them.

All I can suggest to you is to look up some of the editing advice pages and for you to be bold in editing pages. I don't know anything about the subject at hand, and so if you arn't sure, your best bet is discussing it more on the talk page -- that's all the advice I can give. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 17:39, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm going to remove it for now, with an edit summary. We'll see what other people think, but I think the rest of the article provides sufficient accurate information on the subject that the study part is unnecessary. Thanks for the advice.

No probs. By the way, for future reference, each time you make a post on a talk page, sign it with four tildes (~~~~). That way people will know who you are and what your posts are. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 18:01, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Oops. Thanks. I was wondering how to do that. 4.249.0.58 18:08, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

No problem -- although it's always easier just to get an account if you want to frequently edit Wikipedia. The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 18:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
