[edit] Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome! (We can't say that loudly enough!)

Thank you very much. I appreciate the offer of assistance. I've been a fan of this site for quite some time, and I finally decided that I'd try to help out.

I do hope this reply comes out the way I intended, formatting-wise. I'm using the preview but it's a bit ambiguous. Sure wish it would preview the whole page. Okay, I'm rambling now. Thanks again. Take care.  It worked.  :)

[edit] Banana

I think this is quite funny. Do you like banana's? I also like squeezed oranges! (real orange juice..)

1. That first one I did when I was dumb.
2. The second one I just had to do. I'm done. I know that was. Trolling. —The-thing (Talk) (Stuff I did) 20:42, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for the invitation to your humor-based Wiki, please be careful though when sending out these sort of invitations en masse as they could be construed as a form of user talk page spamming. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 20:42, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:Darlei

Now, what was the purpose of putting a blocked tag on this persons userpage when they are not blocked and they haven't made any edits yet? DGX 21:38, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

oOPS! sOORY. tHAT WAS AN ACCIDENT. —The-thing (Talk) (Stuff I did) 21:42, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Thats alright, I removed the tag. (PS. You might want to turn your CAPS lock off ;-)) DGX 21:47, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Oh yea. —The-thing (Talk) (Stuff I did) 21:50, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] BLOCKED!?!?!?!

Why am I blocked? —The-thing (Talk) (Stuff I did) 23:19, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

You were blocked by Tony Sidaway indefinantly for placing indefblock tags on users userpages. Thats not really the reason though, you're allowed to do that. You accidently started tagging userspaces that didn't exist or that weren't blocked like the above mistake earlier. I found out that you were blocked indefinantly for a mistake, so I went and requested that you're unblock or shorten the block and the block was lifted from indef to 24 hours. Sorry to any inconvienence this caused you. DGX 00:10, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
Okay. Thanx. But those people were on the Blocked IP or Username list. —The-thing (Talk) (Stuff I did) 01:02, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

DGX seems to be somewhat confused. You emphatically are not to tag user pages as indefinitely blocked unless they are, in fact, those of indefinitely blocked users. Ever. I've reduced your block to 24 hours in view of the good edits in your history. --Tony Sidaway 02:45, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Aaaggghh! My error. I checked each and every user's block log and they all were completely empty at the time I checked. I thought you were just playing silly games and blocked you as a troll. Since then the servers have synchronized and the blocks are showing up. I've obviously made a huge error for which I cannot apologise enough. Unblocking. --Tony Sidaway 02:50, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pic

Can someone take the unreal pic on my userpage off? —The-thing (Talk) (Stuff I did) 01:04, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

If you were refering to the image in the top right coner of your userpage, I removed it for you per your above statement. DGX 18:25, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Cereal.PNG

Thanks for uploading Image:Cereal.PNG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] question

Hi, The-thing, how do I become a member of a wikiproject? Green caterpillar 21:23, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

What do you mean? —The-thing (Talk) (Stuff I did) 14:56, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

I meant, I went to see what it was all about, because I never heard of it, and I'm wondering, "how can I become a part of that? Green caterpillar 21:03, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question on Disputed

I have an artical (J.Brant Arseneau) on Wikipedia regarding my work since 1985, that I posted but it was written by two other some what famous people with articals as well. Addmittley they are more famous than myself but I was doing work right alogside them, why was my artical in disput because of neutrality? And how do I get it back to normal it possible?
Respectfully yours Jbarseneau 13:16, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
