David C. Gui was born in Shanghai, China on February 5, 1986. At age four, he moved to Montreal, Canada where he studied French. At the age of nine he moved to the United States where he has lived since. He attended William Fremd High School where he participated in numerous activities including scholastic bowl. He is currently attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he is majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Political Science. His interests include basketball, the Chicago Bulls, Wikipedia, music, cannabis, photography, filmmaking, politics, history, reading, and ethnic cleansing.
