[edit] Gameplay

The Warrior's Code is a fairly traditional hack n' slash action role-player's game (RPG) which concentrates far more heavily on action-oriented combat than strategy or character development.

[edit] Transformations

New the The Warrior's Code' is the idea of transformation, in which your character transforms into a beast form. This is accomplished by filling up an "essence" meter, which is much like the HP, Power, and Experience meters in the previous game. Essence is gained by defeating enemies, and when the meter is full, you may transform by holding down the L shoulder button and pressing the Triangle key. When you transform, your essence will slowly decrease, until it is entiely depleted and you return to your normal form.

[edit] WiFi

The Warrior's Code features many more choices for WiFi play, including ad-hoc and the all new infrastructure mode. Both co-op and a number of PVP game types are supported. The game also includes the option to play with others using WiFi on a LAN connection which includes all game types, including co-op storymode play.

[edit] Character Classes

The Warrior's Code introduced five new character classes that are not found in the first Untold Legends game. They are:

  • Guardian
  • Mercenary
  • Disciple
  • Prowler
  • Scout

In addition, as player chacters are changelings, each class has a corresponding changling form.

[edit] Trivia

As a pre-order bonus, the game was shipped with a small action figure of the Guardian class.
