Tricycle: The Buddhist Review is a Buddhist quarterly published by the New York City-based Tricycle Foundation, formerly known as Buddhist Ray, Inc. It has the largest circulation of any Buddhist magazine in the US. [citation needed] The editor-in-chief and publisher of Tricycle is James Shaheen.

The periodical is an internationally distributed, mainstream quarterly dedicated to exploring the full range of Buddhist activity and its impact on Western Life.

The first issue of Tricycle was dated Fall 1991, featuring an interview of the Dalai Lama by Spalding Gray.

Tricycle claims an upscale audience of approximately 200,000 readers. [citation needed] According to the 2005 Writers' Market, circulation of the magazine is 60,000.
