Kate tells Drew, Oswald, and Lewis that a hurricane has struck near the neighborhood in Florida where Drew's parents live. As the gang watches the news report, Drew's parents suddenly arrive at his house in their Winnebago RV. They have been on the road since losing their home for failing to pay their house payments. Beulah Carey tells him that she lost their life savings in a land development scam. Drew's parents tell him that they plan to stay with Drew for a few weeks until they receive their claim in a class-action lawsuit against the people who created the scam. At Winfred-Louder, Drew is surprised to discover his mother wants an interview with him to get hired at the store. After Drew asks her why she needs a job, she reveals that George and Beulah lost the lawsuit. Back at Drew's house, his parents soon take over their old house and prevent Drew from having any privacy. Beulah even changes Drew's room back to how he had it organized when he was a teen. After his parents ruin a date with a woman Drew brought home, he begins spending all of his time at Winfred-Louder. In a futile attempt to get his house back he asks his parents to leave by attempting to guilt trip them. They are too stubborn to leave their old home, and Drew has to end up staying with Lewis and Oswald in their apartment.
