[edit] Biography
These Enzymes was formed in late 2003 by All-American Rejects members Mike Kennerty (guitar) and Chris Gaylor (drums) along with former Sons of Abraham / Irony of Lightfoot frontman Neil Rubenstein. The band was originally rounded out by Motion City Soundtrack bassist Matt Taylor, but when his touring schedule made him unavailable, the band enlisted Burnpile bassist Andrew Palmer. Former Reunion Show guitarist Derrick Sherman played second guitar during the band's only tour in Spring 2004. They recorded a 5 song EP entitled "Henry" in Summer 2004 with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At the Disco, The Explosion). It was released in October 2004 by Doghouse Records.
