Theresia Unno

Sister Theresia Unno was a Japanese Catholic nun who committed herself to helping the Japanese Mestizos living in poverty at Baguio, Philippines. She helped build churches and houses in the area.

In 1970, she founded the Filipino-Japanese Association of Northern Luzon, which promotes friendship between Filipinos and Japanese, is now active in charity work, and provides educational scholarships to Filipinos of Japanese ancestry. 1
