Therese Murray

Therese Murray is an American politician from the state of Massachusetts. A state senator, Murray represents the districts of Plymouth and Barnstable and is the chairperson of the Senate Ways and Means Committee.

Considered by many as a proponent of liberal politics, Mrs. Murray is a strong supporter of states' rights and is actively working on writing a Universal Health Care bill.

Many consider her a possible candidate for higher state office, Congress, or even the United States Senate. Murray has been considered as a candidate for Lieutenant-Governor of Massachusetts on the Democratic ticket, but is believed to have declined.
