Theodore J. Van Toll III (also known as T.J. Van Toll), born 1985, is the current United States doubles champion for the popular arcade game "In the Groove 2." Van Toll will travel to Oslo, Norway, in the summer of 2006 for a chance to win $3,200 at the World Cup Championships.
Van Toll, a student at Central Michigan University, is a native of Westland, Michigan. He is known in the mid-Michigan area for playing the In the Groove 2 video game at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth, MI, where he qualified to compete in Austin, Texas, for the American Competition In The Groove 2006 Championships.
Van Toll's specialty is doubles, a category in which the player uses two dance floors at once. Singles is the traditional style where a player uses one mat.
