Then Jerico
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Then Jerico were a British rock band from the late 1980s who enjoyed limited success with two albums:-
- First (The Sound Of Music) - 1987
- The Big Area - 1989. This album went gold and reached number 4 in the UK Albums Chart.
While regarded by some members of the British music press of the time as a teen band, Then Jerico produced two outstanding albums of creative songwriting, instrumentation, arrangement and production. The singles "Big Area" and "Sugar Box" being especially memorable.
The song "Big Area" was featured in the 1989 science fiction film "Slipstream" starring Mark Hamill.
