Themos Anastasiadis

Themos Anastasiadis(Greek: Θέμιστοκλής(Θέμος) Αναστασιάδης) is a greek journalist, television presenter and newspaper editor based in Athens, Greece.

Born in the end of the decade of 1950s, he involved with journalism and worked in various newspapers. The two major newspapers in which he worked were Kathimerini and To Vima; where he was an article-writer.

During 2005, alongside with television journalist Makis Triantafylopoulos, he created a new newspaper, published only every Sunday, with the name "Proto Thema". He is also the editor of the sports-newspaper "Protathlitis"(Champion); a newspaper which supports Olympiacos, the football team which he himself fanatically supports. Except from his work in printed journalism, Themos has worked also on television. During the last five years and until the 29th February 2006 he was the host of a popular weekly humourist show on Alpha TV with the name "Ola". On this show he used to invite every week various personalities from the Greek show-biz and expose many funny moments from the Greek television in extended videos. The tension in his relations with the President of Alpha TV, journalist Nikos Hadjinikolaou, who was a major target of his humour, jokes and funny videos, had as a result his dismissal from the TV station.

Since the 22nd of March 2006, Anastasiadis is the host of the show "OlaXXL" on ANT1 Television.
