Themis Group, Inc. is an interactive media and marketing company focused on the world of online, console and mobile entertainment games as well as other forms of digital entertainment.

Founded in 2001 by Messrs. Alexander Macris and Thomas Kurz as a community management consultancy and outsourcer specializing in massively multiplayer games, Themis Group has since expanded beyond its original mission and today operates several related and complimentary online and mobile driven businesses in publishing, marketing and community management.

Media properties published by Themis Group include the WarCry Network ([1]) and the Escapist ([2]). WarCry provides massively multiplayer gamers with in-depth editorial, exclusive content, detailed databases and customized communities that speak to their passions through its network of branded fan sites. The Escapist, meanwhile, is a weekly online magazine that covers gaming and gamer culture with a progressive editorial style.

Service properties include TAP Interactive and Playerbase Solutions. TAP Interactive ([3]) is Themis Group's creative communications agency that specializes in reaching and connecting with gamers and other digitally savvy audiences. And while TAP helps to build online communities, Playerbase Solutions ([4]) provides the community management and online support to game publishers as well as other businesses that are interested in maintaining relationships with their customers online or through their mobile devices.

Themis Group, in partnership with Refero AS of Norway ([5])also provides digitally savvy users with customized mobile content including social networking applications.

Clients include Sony, NCsoft, Perpetual Entertainment, Atari, Nokia, Ubisoft and Sega.
