The Theatre Royal, Nottingham is part of Nottingham's Royal Centre, which also incorporates the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall. The theatre is in the heart of Nottingham City Centre and is owned by Nottingham City Council. [1]

The Theatre Royal was completed in 1865, after six months of work and cost £15,000. The Classic facade and Corinthian columns are still a major Nottingham landmark. [2] The Theatre Royal is now regarded as one of the best touring venues in the country, attracting major touring dramas, opera, ballet, West End musicals and an annual pantomime. [3]
