The last page of the Internet

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There exist several web pages on the Internet which claim to be the last page of the Internet. Usually a "last page of the Internet" contains no links. They are created as jokes.

In a similar vein is Turn Off The Internet which is not only the end of the internet, but ostensibly allows you to turn the whole internet off when you are done by the click of a mouse.

A parody of this joke is the first page of the Internet, while the recent Middle Page of the Internet seems a serious attempt to produce a self-stabilizing page, capable of constant adjustments, in order to remain in the center of the World Wide Web.

Strictly speaking, such pages would be the first or last page of the World Wide Web, not the Internet.
