The Wretched Spawn is a 2004 album by death metal band Cannibal Corpse. It is one of their most popular albums. The cover art by Vincent Locke features a woman giving birth to demonic offspring, devouring her as she gives birth. Like many Cannibal Corpse albums, there is a censored outer-sleeve and for 'The Wretched Spawn' it is a close-up of the skull sculpture in the top middle of the uncensored cover. The album was distributed with a making-of DVD produced by Nick Sahakian.
