Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest Guy (ドラゴンボールゼット この世で一番強いヤツ Doragonbōru Zetto: Kono yo de ichiban tsuyoi yatsu?) is the second movie in the Dragon Ball Z franchise. It was originally released in Japan on March 10, 1990, between episodes 39 & 40. FUNimation's title is The World's Strongest & Bridge Entertainment's title is The Strongest Guy in the World.

This movie, along with Dead Zone and The Tree of Might, was released in a DVD box set from Funimation on November 14, 2006.

[edit] Plot outline

Summoning Shenlong, Dr. Kochin frees his mentor, Dr. Uirō, who has been entombed within ice for 50 years. Wanting to have the strongest body on Earth, Uirō goes after Muten Rōshi thinking that he's still the strongest. However, upon learning that Son Gokū is now the strongest, Uirō has a new target. He nearly succeeds in defeating Gokū but Gokū fights back with his Kaiō-ken technique.
