The Washington Blade

The Washington Blade is a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) newspaper in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Launched as an independent publication in October 1969, it has since been bought by Window Media, a group of gay-oriented newspapers circulated throughout the United States. It focuses mainly on global and regional political issues concerning LGBT persons.
