The Venetian Twins

The Venetian Twins is a two-act musical comedy based on Carlo Goldoni's 1747 play I due gemelli veneziani ("The two Venetian twins"), in turn based on the Menaechmi of Plautus. The adaptation and lyrics were by Nick Enright and the music by Terence Clarke.

It premiered on 26 October 1979 in the Drama Theatre of the Sydney Opera House, with John Bell directing the Nimrod Theatre Company for the Sydney Theatre Company.

It was published by Currency Press, Sydney in 1996.
