The Velrides are a North London based band of a Rock/Blues background. Velrides formally known as The Brakes had to take a name change due to another band being signed with it. After the former lead singer Adam Kirby left to embark on a solo project, he later returned as their manager.

The band now consists of Andy Brown lead vocals. Ant Penkul rhythm Guitar. Jim Quentin Lead Guitar. Jamie King Bass. And Theo Hyman on drums.

This Band has currently 3 albums available for download. Or demo's on their site.

At last count the band were up to 30-40 gigs mostly london based
