Despite not being a major success for Gray, The Trouble With Being Myself received mostly positive reviews and remains a favourite with many fans. The album features the singles "When I See You", "It Ain't The Money" and "She Ain't Right For You". The album has since been considered a failure, especially in the UK, where it reached number 17 after Gray's first two albums reached no. 3 and no. 1 respectively.
