The Tossers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Tossers are a charmingly-named, seven-piece Celtic Punk band from Chicago. They formed in the early '90s and have started to move into the spotlight recently, having toured with such bands as Lost City Angels, Murphy's Law, Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22 and, most recently, Dropkick Murphys. Their most recent release, The Valley of the Shadow of Death came out on Victory Records. Having formed in the early 90s, the band most likely existed before more well-known Celtic Punk bands such as the aforementioned Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, which formed in 1995 and 1997 respectively.
Clayton Hansen, when not playing with The Tossers, teaches Auto Technology in the Fox Valley Career Center located in Kaneland High School in Maple Park, IL. He also fills in as a substitute teacher wherever possible.
