As Três Marias (The Three Marias in English) is a 2002 Brazilian independent film that tells the story of a woman (played by Marieta Severo) who takes revenge on her former lover and his family with the help of her three daughters. The movie depends on heavy mysticism and Catholic imagery to tell the story.
