The Taste Of Ink is the second single released off the debut album The Used by the rock group The Used. It was released on June 25, 2002.
Both the song and video make it clear that the song is about the band members' attempts to break free of the depressing Utah town where they grew up. The video shows that the taste of ink is the result of frustration—biting down on a pen.
