The Synthetic Dream Foundation

The Synthetic Dream Foundation (TSDF) is an experimental electronic music group out of the United States, formed in 2001. As of 2005, the group is based out of Tampa, Florida. The group produces genre crossing compositions which incorporate the stylings of classical, drum and bass, electro, industrial, ambient, psytrance, and experimental combinations thereof. Some early releases were through MP3.com while that web site was active, and this is how they garnered some of their first dance club hits, putting them on the industrial music scene. This site also led to them being one of the first electronic bands to gain world wide exposure exclusively through internet distribution. The band has since expanding, gathering a cult following type status. As of 2005, TSDF has started working with classical and gothic vocalists.
