The Summer Obsession is an American indie rock band with emo/punk influences. Hailing from Jacksonville, FL, the band released their debut album, This Is Where You Belong, on August 29th. The band is made up of Lucien Walker (vocals, piano), Fin(Allan Leavell) (guitar, vocals), Christ Miller (bass), and Chris Wilson (formerly of Good Charlotte) on drums.
The Summer Obsession's first spur of interest was garnered when their song Melt The Sugar was featured on the MySpace Records, Volume 1 compilation disc. In the summer of 2006, they released their first single Do You Remember?, which has received moderate airplay.
A fact that most people may not know is that Lucien and Fin were also in a band together called "Start Trouble" and released a full length album on Columbia Records entitled "Every Solution Has Its Problem". They later formed a musical duo called "The Bed Destroyers" prior to forming The Summer Obsession.
