The STROJ is an experimental music group from Slovenia. Famous for their performances using only selfmade instruments built from found materials, such as parts of old machines, empty containers, construction pipes, various screws and more. The STROJ ('stroj' is the Slovenian word for 'Machine') started in in the beginning of the year 1997, when a group of percussionists started to realize the idea of constructing an audio rhythmical machine.

Live-performances by The STROJ are a spectacle of light, sounds and pyrotechnical effects, upgraded by the sound manipulation of Slovenian producer and musician Aldo Ivancic.
