The Stringbeans or The Four Stringbeans were a short lived rock band from Harare, Zimbabwe. They were active from 1977-1978 and were formed at Hamilton High School in the city of Salisbury (now Harare).

Only 3 Singles were released with no formal album. All the chart numbers are from the Zimbabwe.

November 1977- A Stupid Mistake / Farlings Drum Solo #34

January 1978- Its a Great Day for Cricket / I Am a Loser #12

February 1978- Pick Up the Tempo / I Want to get Stoned #75

The group disbanded after high school and went their separate ways. Little is know about the whereabouts of the band members, but many say that it was Zimbabwe's best known 1970's rock band.
