The Snowman Cometh

The Snowman Cometh is an episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog, set in the North Pole, where a living snowman plans to steal the family's anti-melting genes to put into himself.

On a snowy vacation, Muriel is making soup, but the whole environment is so cold that the soup freezes. Eustace is cold, so he sends Courage out to get some firewood. Courage sees a snowman, and takes the wood from his arms, but the snowman demands that he puts it back! Courage quickly does and runs back to the igloo, screaming! Courage then follows the Snowman's tracks into its hideout, where he discovers that the Snowman plots to take the human anti-melting gene because the North Pole is getting warmer. If he takes the anti-melting gene then he will not melt, but the humans will. He cackles. Courage heads back, only to find that Eustace and Muriel are gone. He goes back to the Snowman's hideout, to find that the Snowman is taking Eustace's gene already. Courage manages to rescue them, and go down the slope on his sled. The Snowman chases after them, Eustace's anti-melting gene having been destroyed. Courage breaks some ice and the Snowman falls into the ice water where he freezes. Eustace, meanwhile, has melted without his gene, and must spend the rest of his life in a fishbowl.
