The character Tom Quinn was replaced here by Adam Carter, since Tom messed up on operation flytrap, an operation to attempt to stop the construction of a nuclear bomb in london by a terrorist equivalent of MI5, in which he began to sympathise with Professor Fred Chambers (Played by Ian McDiarmid). Quinn left the series, apparently permanently.
