The Siege of Krishnapur

The Siege of Krishnapur is a novel by the author J.G. Farrell, and was published in 1973.
Broadly satirical in nature, it details events during the Indian Rebellion of 1857, and is a fictionalised account of the Siege of Lucknow (with significant differences).
The novel won the Man Booker Prize in 1973 (list of winners).
