[edit] History
At one time they were a pop/punk band named 2540 which is a reference to Matthew 25:40 from the bible. Their debut album titled "A Chorus Of Obliteration" was produced by Bruce Fitzhugh, lead singer of Living Sacrifice. The Showdown have set "Temptation Come My Way" as the title to their new album (expected to be released February 20th, 2007).
They have two taglines which are "High Voltage" and "Git Snakebit"
While the band's first album A Chorus of Obliteration was mainly a metalcore album, they have shifted into southern rock, which will be the dominate element of the new album.
