The Shores of Poker Flat, California

The Shores of Poker Flat is an unincorporated community in Calaveras County, California. It sits at an elevation of 580 feet (176 m) above sea level and is located at , on the shore of the Tulloch Reservoir.
It is believed that this was the locale of Bret Harte's Poker Flat. In late 1849 there was a large mining camp here, with miners washing gold out on both banks of the Stanislaus River.
