The Shed

The Shed, also known as Shed FM, is a radio station broadcasting in Blenheim, New Zealand. It airs music that usually wouldn't be found on radio such as Metallica and Slayer. It airs next to no advertisements.
The Shed (Magazine and Community Radio Station) - Established before Shed FM is an Australian community radio station and monthly magazine created by Work For The Dole participants of Djerriwarrh Employment & Education Services (http://www.djerriwarrh.org.au/). The magazine runs from two locations, Melton and St Albans. It airs real music along the lines of: Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Doors, Jason Duffy and the ER patients, Rolling Stones, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper etc. Described by some as an entertainly bizarre mix of current affairs, education, stimulating features, humour and Totally Useless Facts (a monthly column and radio segment in The Shed) it is a voice for the unemployed of north-west Melbourne. One of its many bizzare mascots was "The Hot Asian Chick" with the christmas hat who always said quotes like "Yowza Yowza" and "Wooza Wuzzle". A song about The Shed was also composed by the popular local muso, Lez Casha.
The Shed (Subtle) (Song by Rainbow (band)) - Written by Ritchie Blackmore, Ronnie James Dio and the late Cozy Powell. At just under five minutes, it is a popular track from Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow band from the famous 1978 album Long Live Rock 'n' Roll. The album reached the 89th positon on Billboards Pop Album chart of 1978 and was the last Rainbow album Ronnie Dio was involved with.
The Shed - Is also the name of a covered terrace at one end of Chelsea F.C.'s Stamford Bridge football ground. The terrace has long since been renevated in to an all seater stand with corperate boxes, the fans however still refer to it as The Shed. Less famous is that Nationwide Conference North club Lancaster City F.C. too have a small covered terrace also called The Shed at there Giant Axe stadium.
