The Shakespeare Code is an episode of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It will be broadcast in Spring 2007.

The story is set in 1599 London, and will involve William Shakespeare "giving the performance of his life in order to save the Earth from destruction."[1]

  • The title appears to be a play on The Da Vinci Code, which is also a story based around a well-known figure of the Renaissance.
