The Rowing Song
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"The Rowing Song" is a song from the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. It was sung by Gene Wilder, who played Willy Wonka in the film. It was sung while the group took the boat Wonkatania after the field full of candy and the choclateriver scene. It happens to be one of the more visually interesting scenes in the movie.
A version of the song has been recorded by Marilyn Manson under the title Prelude (The Family Trip) and it is the opening track on their Portrait of an American Family album.
