The Rising Tied is the debut album of hip hop ensemble Fort Minor, the side-project by Linkin Park MC Mike Shinoda. The album was released on November 22, 2005 (see 2005 in music) through Linkin Park's Warner Bros. Records imprint label Machine Shop Recordings. The Rising Tied was produced by Shinoda and executive-produced by Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. The Rising Tied charted and peaked at #51 on the Billboard 200 chart. Promotional music videos have been filmed for the songs "Remember the Name," "Petrified", "Believe Me", and "Where'd You Go." The only song to have major success thus far has been "Where'd You Go", although "Remember The Name" is a hit among the underground and athletes.
